The first “Budgetary Policy Report” has been published on the PBO’s website. The Report, which expands and develops the positions of the PBO expressed in recent hearings before the Budget Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, evaluates the macroeconomic forecasts and the trend and policy scenarios for the public finances set out by the Government in the Update of the EFD, assesses compliance with national and European fiscal rules and examines the economic effects of a number of number of public finance measures of special importance.
