As agreed under the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 15 September 2014, on 2 October the Ministry of the Economy and Finance (MEF) sent the Parliamentary Budget Office detailed information on the macroeconomic policy scenario published in the Update of the 2014 EFD. The PBO prepared a reconstruction of the line-item composition of the public finance measures and asked the MEF to confirm the consistency of the reconstruction with the assumptions used in the Update in moving from the trend scenario to the policy scenario. In response, the MEF today supplied additional information on the assumptions used.
