The Parliamentary Budget Office, in compliance with the timetable established under the Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry for the Economy and Finance, has completed the process of validating the definitive macroeconomic trend scenario to be published in the Update of the EFD. The PBO notified the Ministry of its findings today. A preliminary version of the forecasts was provided to the PBO by the MEF on 9 September. On 22 September the PBO sent its comments to the MEF. The revised version of the forecasts, which takes account of the additional information available as of that date, the transition to ESA 2010 and the issues raised by the PBO, was sent to the Ministry on 25 September.
